I am a very active, physically-fit individual. My weight has been consistent for more than 20 years and losing any more than three pounds has seemed impossible. My cousin introduced me to Nutrifit360.

After a week I needed to return to Florida for a few days. I went into my normal routine of walking the beach in my work-out clothes (running shorts and sports bra). I have been an aerobics instructor for 13 years and have always stayed in good shape. What I didn’t know until after doing my first nutritional program, however, was how bad I really felt. My approach to Nutrifit360 is all about attitude.

I came to the conclusion that nobody could manage my health or my weight problem but me. But how to do that was a perplexing problem.

Over the last 38 years I have tried every diet out there and I lost weight. But I could not wait for the diet to be over so I could start eating the same things over again — the same things that had made me gain the weight in the first place. This yo-yo dieting had some serious effects on my health. My blood pressure was high, I have diabetes, I have had two angioplastys and I had a serious weight problem. On September 21, 2005, my husband Ronald and I started a Nutrifit360 program to lose weight. We made an attitude adjustment. We decided we could do anything for 30 days. I came to the understanding I have always had the power within me to make choices. For years those choices were bad and had some very bad effects on my body.

At the end of 30 days we had both lost 11 pounds. To date Ronald has lost 39 pounds and I have lost 42. Ronalds acid reflux is gone. My blood sugar came down from a high of 185 to 94 fasting. I was skeptical when I first learned about the results of others who tried Nutrifit360's program; however, I was willing to give it a try. I wanted to feel good again, and i needed all natural and that was what I had been looking for. I started perimenopause about five years ago, and I went through some tough changes. I had been depressed for a while was full of aches and pains, had gained weight, could not remember things readily and didn’t have enough energy to do even simple things. I was miserable! I did not want to take hormone pills or antidepressants. I heard that balancing my nutrition helped to make the body feel and function normally, so I tried it.

By the fourth day, I noticed a difference in how I felt and how I reacted to situations. By the tenth day, I felt like I was a totally different person. I lost seven pounds, my head de-fogged, and I even noticed that my teeth and gums felt better! When I brushed my teeth in the morning, they didn’t bleed and my teeth didn’t seem to be as sensitive as they used to be.

I’ve always liked vegetables and fruits, but eating healthy was a big chore to me. I was getting 1-3 whole, raw foods per day. I’ve always been a water drinker, but I don’t think I was drinking eight glasses a day. I drank soy milk once or twice a day and sometimes drank soda. I’ve always been an exerciser; however, when I started to be depressed that stopped almost totally. I’d walk a couple of miles a week and then stop and not exercise for two or three weeks.

Now, thanks to Nutrifit360, I eat at raw, whole foods every day, and I drink a half gallon or more of water a day. I have between 2-3 cups of coffee or tea per week. I now have joined Fitcamp and exercise at least three times a week; I also take my dog for 30-minute walks 2-3 times per week. I feel great, I’m not depressed and I have much more energy than I had even before my bodily changes started.

I think the best thing about Nutrifit360's plan was its convenience. I don’t have to spend long hours writing down my food logs or calculating all the calories that my body needs. All I have to do is log in to my profile and click a few keys. It’s also great when I’m running into a problem because I don’t have to stop at a computer to reschedule my appointment, all i have to do is use my PDA to change anything.
